“You know what they say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. What you deemed useless and blemished, I regard as valuable and a fucking marvel. But I should actually thank you, Coach, because the trash you left on the sidewalk is my perfect treasure. I love every beautiful flaw, every imperfection on that”
Season 7 continues… Thanks to everyone who read along and showed up for the last meeting.
Season 7 features a diverse collection of books by incredible Black authors, each bringing their unique perspectives on life, love, and the complexities of Black womanhood. Over the next few months, we’ll read, reflect, and engage in meaningful conversations that will challenge us to think critically and live more fully.
As always, our sessions are designed to be inclusive, safe, and supportive spaces where Black women of all ages and backgrounds can come together, share their stories, and learn from one another. Expect a mix of in-person discussions, online forums, and engaging activities that go beyond the books we read.
