Looking for your next favourite read?
That’s where I was when I picked up ‘Other Side of the Game’ by Amanda Parris. I’ve heard so many great things about this book, rather a play, and I knew that it would be good because the author is a superb Toronto writer who has a keen eye for great stories.
If you’re anything like me one of the toughest decisions is whether or not to buy, borrow or bounce to the next book. So is it worth your coins?
In this debut, Amanda Parris turns the spotlight on the Black women who organize and strengthen the community.
I tried to do this review in two minutes but as you’ll see that didn’t work. But I give a brief synopsis and my overall review. Fulljoy! Let me know your thoughts!
