This summer, join the This Black Girl Reads Summer Reading Challenge, a gentle invitation to read with intention, diversify your bookshelf, and embrace reading as an act of rest, resistance, and joy.
How to Join
Getting started is easy:
- Download your Summer Reading Challenge Bingo Card.
- Complete the reading prompts at your own pace. Fill one square, complete a row, or aim for the whole card—it’s entirely up to you.
- Share your progress on Instagram using #ThisBlackGirlReads and tag @thisblackgirlreads so we can celebrate your journey.
- Submit your completed bingo card by September 5 to be entered to win some exciting bookish prizes.
There are no reading police here. Read what you love. Skip prompts that don’t serve you. DNF books without guilt. The goal isn’t to read more, it’s to read more intentionally.
